 There
are now literally over 1 billion websites on the World Wide Web.
Needless to say it is still growing at an exponential rate. The
biggest issue in website design these days is the aspect of 'Indexing'.
Even if you have a great looking site, if it isn't 'indexed' properly
search engines will not find it in the first place. Also the manner
in which each single page of a website is indexed will determine
the ranking of that page when it is accepted into a search engine's
database. We started this company by specialising in indexing methods
that were extremely successful and now some of our clients boost
being on the first page of a search that often will yield hundreds
of thousands of results, while some of our other clients are in
the number 1,2 or 3 spot and as a result attract a huge amount traffic.
Of
all the pages on the Web it is estimated that only 5% can be accessed
easily and of these only a further 5% are indexed properly, and
further still only a smaller percentage of these are fully functional
and valid enough for general Internet community access.
There
are different ways we index a site and we don't share our secrets
easily, however I will tell you this is key to a prominent position
on the Internet these days.
The
next issue is Cloaking. When a website is indexed and has
been submitted to many search engines (see
our section on Submission for details) and a good or even great
ranking is obtained, one has to be very careful as the next thing
that will happen is some other web master will come along and 'steal'
your source code, copy it and as a result pull your ranking down
as they try to take you place. We can prevent this from the outset
by using 'cloaking' programs that will hide the source code from
everyone except the search engine 'spiders'. Our business and deluxe
